Instant coffee is brewed coffee that’s been dried into crystals—just add water (or your liquid of choice) and it’s ready. We use specialty freeze-dried coffee that preserves rich flavor, body, and aroma.

Most instant coffee is made from low-quality beans and over-processed for mass production. We use specialty-grade freeze-dried coffee and blend it with electrolytes—sodium, potassium, and magnesium—for flavor and function, without sacrificing quality or convenience.

A little—but in a good way. Our electrolyte blend is carefully balanced to complement the coffee’s natural richness, like a pinch of salt that enhances flavor in food.

Just two: specialty-grade instant coffee and a proprietary blend of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, and magnesium). No additives, sweeteners, or flavorings.

Classic and Decaf:

• Sodium: 100 mg (4% DV)

• Potassium: 63 mg (1% DV)

• Potassium: 16 mg (0% DV)

• Magnesium: 14 mg (3% DV)

Caffeine varies slightly between batches, but according to the USDA, instant coffee contains about 31.4 mg of caffeine per 1g. Our Classic and Espresso blends contain 3g of coffee per serving—so approximately 94mg of caffeine per cup. The Decaf contains virtually none.

Absolutely. Our South American coffee bases are smooth, balanced, and hold up beautifully to milk, sugar, or whatever you like in your cup.

We don’t use certified organic coffee at this time. We focus on ethically sourced, high-quality coffee that meets our standards—no certifications, just great sourcing.

We sure do! But, everyone’s caffeine tolerance and electrolyte needs are different, so check with a healthcare professional if you’re unsure. For more on our electrolyte levels, see the “How much electrolytes are in a serving?” section above.

We recommend using Lyte Coffee within one year for best flavor. Because it’s freeze-dried, it can last much longer if stored in a cool, dry place.

We don’t roast or process the coffee in-house. We work with producers who specialize in high-quality instant coffee using ethical sourcing and freeze-drying techniques—then we blend in our electrolyte mix to create a truly unique product.
